Bismillahi Ta’ala,

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah,

This is a Qafila’s venture to raise some funds for ilmHub’s renovation that began after Ramadhan this year.

As a background, Darul Iftaa currently runs from a partially finished basement at their ilmHub Facility. ilmHub facility covers their expense through regular donors as well as tenants who have been very caring.

Since the beginning of this year, and especially after Ramadhan, Darul Iftaa has seen an influx of increased activity which has had to be hosted at this facility. These included taraweeh, religious and business counseling sessions, mediations, educational as well as Islah & Tazkiya gatherings.

They felt the need to make the Darul Iftaa office presentable and suitable to have small meetings, as well as host small educational gatherings for academic purposes.

The current renovation will cover:

• Finishing the basement to host Darul Iftaa Office

• Set up and make shelving for book cases as well as open bookshelves.

• A secondary office desk arrangement for their future Part-Time employee for askHalal, or for visiting scholars

• Upgrade lighting to more efficient LED which will be better for curbing expenses as well as brightening the rooms (in Darul Iftaa, Library Room and Main Level classrooms).

In the spirit of offering a chance for people to participate in these renovations which will assist ilmHub and Darul Iftaa work for the coming years, I am requesting everyone to utilize this crowdfunding.
